What is
Molecular Pathology?
Molecular Pathology is the discipline that studies and diagnoses diseases at the genetic and molecular level. It analyzes molecules in biological samples from organs, tissues, or body fluids, revealing key information about the origin and progression of each disease.
Thanks to next-generation testing, it is now possible to identify mutations, predict tumor behavior, and determine the most effective treatment for each patient.
In other words, Molecular Pathology is the foundation of precision diagnostics and a driving force behind personalized medicine.
